The makers of the highest-grossing Pakistani film Jawani Phir Nahi Ani (JPNA) are coming back with the sequel of their movie next year. As expected, Hamza Ali Abbasi won’t be the part of the film anymore and will be replaced by Actor in Law star Fahad Mustafa.
Earlier this month, it was announced that Syra Shahroz will pair up with Fahad Mustafa in the Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 but according to latest updates, the debutant Mawra Hocane has now replaced the former.
According to a report by Express Tribune, Syra rejected the film after reading details about her role. “I rejected the film because I believe my role was not substantial,” told Syra to Tribune.
Released in 2015, JPNA is still the highest Pakistani grossing movie followed by Bin Roye and recently released Punjab Nahi Jaungi. The sequel of the film will release next year.
