The drafts for Pakistan Super League (PSL) III held today at Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) hearquarter Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. All franchise owners, management and some A list players of Pakistan were present at the event.

Each team went into the drafts with a squad of nine players which they retained and picked one player each from Platinum, Diamond and Gold categories. This was followed by two rounds each in Silver and Emerging. Teams had the option to pick up to four players each in the Supplementary category.

Here’re the complete squad for each team including the debutant Multan Sultan.

Karachi Kings:

Karachi Kings now have Shahid Afridi, Imad Wasim (C), Babar Azam, Muhammad Amir, Muhammad Rizwan, Usman Shinwari, Khurram Manzoor, Usama Mir, Tabish Khan, Muhammad Irfan (Jr), Hassan Mohsin and Saifullah Bangash from local players while Luke  Wright, Mitchell Johnson, Ravi Bopara, Colin Ingram, Colin Munro, David Wiese, Eoin Morgan are foreign players in the team.

Lahore Qalandars:

Lahore Qalandars have picked Umar Akmal, Fakhar Zaman, Yasir Shah, Sohail Khan, Aamer Yamin, Bilawal Bhatti, Bilal Asif, Raza Hasan, Sohail Akhtar, Shaheen Khan Afridi, Ghulam Mudassir and Gulraiz Sadaf in local players and Brendon McCullum (C), Cameron Delport, Chris Lynn, Mustafizur Rahaman, Angelo Mathews and Mitchell McClenaghan in foreign players.

Islamabad United:

Islamabad United have picked Misbah-ul-Haq (C), Mohammad Sami, Rumman Raees, Fahim Ashraf, Zafar Gohar, Shadab Khan, Iftkhar Ahmed, Ammad Butt, Asif Ali, Sahibzada Farhan, Hussain Talat, Muhammad Hassan and Muhammad Hasnain from local players while Andre Russell, Samuel Badree, Luke Ronchi, Sam Billings, JP Duminy, Alex Hales and David Willey are their picks from foreign players.

Quetta Gladiators:

The two-time PSL runners-up Quetta Gladiators have picked Sarfraz Ahmed (C), Asad Shafiq, Muhammad Nawaz, Anwar Ali, Mir Hamza, Umar Amin, Rahat Ali, Ramiz Raja (Jr), Saad Ali, Saud Shakeel, Hassan Khan, Rashid Khan, Muhammad Azam Khan and Faraz Ahmed from local players while Kevin Pietersen, Rilee Rossouw, Carlos Brathwaite, Mahmudullah, Shane Watson, and Jason Roy are their picks from foreign players.

Peshawar Zalmi:

The defending champions of PSL have picked Mohammad Hafeez, Wahab Riaz, Kamran Akmal, Hasan Ali, Haris Sohail, Mohammad Asghar, Hammad Azam, Saad Nasim, Taimoor Sultan, Sameen Gul and Ibtisam Shaikh from local players while Darren Sammy (C), Shakib al Hasan, Chris Jordan, Dwayne Bravo, and Tamim Iqbal are their picks from foreign players.

Multan Sultans:

The debutant Multan Sultans have picked Shoaib Malik, Sohail Tanvir, Junaid Khan, Mohammad Irfan, Kashif Bhatti, Irfan Khan, Sohaib Maqsood, Ahmad Shahzad, Muhammad Abbas, Abdullah Shafiq, Saif Badar, Umar Gul, and Umar Sadiq from local players while Kumar Sangakkara, Kieron Pollard, Imran Tahir, Darren Bravo, Nicolas Pooran, Hardus Viljoen, and Ross Whiteley are their picks from foreign players.
