Pakistani cricketer Shadab Khan has broken his silence on the controversy surrounding cricketers’ interactions with actresses on social media. The leg-spinner, known for his candid remarks, recently appeared on a comedy show where he addressed the ongoing buzz around actresses claiming to have received messages from cricketers, including his own name in connection with the controversy.

Shadab Khan’s confession came after multiple actresses, including Nawal Saeed and Momina Iqbal, claimed that they had received messages from cricketers. TikToker Shah Taj also made headlines last year when she alleged that Shadab Khan proposed marriage during a conversation. While the cricketer did not directly address all the specific claims, he acknowledged the commonality of such exchanges.

In response to the host’s question about the actresses’ allegations, Shadab stated that cricketers messaging actresses is not unusual. “What’s wrong with it if cricketers text them?” he asked. He added, “If they don’t like it, then they shouldn’t reply,” offering a straightforward solution to the situation.

Shadab Khan further explained that many actresses respond willingly to cricketers’ messages, pointing out that they could easily ignore such texts but instead choose to engage in conversation. “Even though they could ignore it, they choose to reply, showing their interest in continuing the conversation,” he said.

However, the cricketer also took the opportunity to share his perspective on the exaggerated nature of such claims. “While some videos exaggerate the situation, that’s not the reality. Some actresses also seek attention,” Shadab explained.

He noted that such incidents tend to surface during major cricketing events, like the World Cup, due to the intense public focus on the sport and its players.
