Veteran cricketer Mohammad Hafeez reacted to his exclusion from the national T20I squad against South Africa despite being the highest run-scorer in the shorter format last year.
Taking to Twitter after the chief selector announced 20 members for three T20I-matches series, Hafeez shared Quranic verses in which Allah asks his people to be patient.
“Indeed ALLAH is with the patient,” Hafeez wrote on the social site.

It must be noted here that Hafeez had scored 415 runs in 10 T20Is in 2020 at an average of 83 with four half-centuries.
