Haris Rauf’s inclusion in the national squad for England series seemed difficult as the right-arm pacer tested COVID-19 positive for the third time in a row.

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), asymptomatic Rauf got tested for the third time on Thursday. Alongside Rauf, Haider Ali, Imran Khan Sr, and Kashif Bhatti were also tested for the widely-spread virus and they came back negative. Three of them will now travel to Lahore on Saturday to get tested for the fourth time.

According to the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), those players, who had tested COVID-19 positive, will have to test negative twice in order to travel to England.
