Former Test cricketer Inzamam-ul-Haq thanked his former teammates, cricketers, and fans for all the prayers, meanwhile also clarified that he didn’t suffer from a heart attack.
In a video on his Youtube channel, Inzamam shared that he has been shifted to his home and doing fine after undergoing angioplasty on Tuesday.
“I am at home right now, doing absolutely fine. I am thankful for all the people who prayed for me and sent their wishes,” he said.
“I have heard people saying I suffered from a heart attack. I want to correct them here, I went for a check-up after feeling pain in my stomach. During the examination, doctors suggested angioplasty as they found something wrong with my heart. So, they put stents and it was a successful procedure,” he added.
It is pertinent to mention here that Inzamam was admitted to a local hospital in Lahore after reportedly having suffered from a heart attack. The entire cricket community got worried for him and prayed for his swift recovery.
