After showing her singing talent earlier this year with the cover of Sajna, the budding actress Kinza Hashmi has once taken center stage by giving vocals to ‘Ye Watan Tumhara Hai’.
In the star-studded rendition of ‘Ye Watan Tumhara Hai’, celebrities paid homage to the heroes who have been working day and night for us in this fight against Covid-19.
Kinza was seen alongside a plethora of celebrities who have recorded this cover of Mehdi Hasan’s famous song in a new style. It arrives just at the right time as we see the world going through a very difficult time right now. Actress sung ‘Es Zameen ki matti main khoon hai shaheedon kaa’ to contribute her part in the song.

The actress later shared the cover on her Instagram profile as well, with a beautiful penned note that urged people to care and play their part to combat the threat that affects us all.
“We made a peanut-sized effort to show you that we care & we urge our fellow countrymen to care for their loved ones, neighbors, friends, anyone & everyone around you because that is what being a Pakistani is all about,” she wrote.
As the world struggles to stand its ground in the face of the current pandemic, it is nice to see people coming together to show their love and care for the planet.
