Mahira Khan is surely not happy for not being allowed to speak or travel to India for the promotions of her debut film. In an interview to BBC Urdu, the actress finally broke her silence and talked about how she felt about her movie.

‘I have spent two years, this is something more special because I have worked somewhere else,’ she expressed. “Obviously, I am a human being and this is my work, I have put efforts, and I wish if I could be able to talk more about the film,” she added.

Talking about her role in the movie, she assured that her role was not reduced or cut. “I am thankful that I am there. I am there exactly as it was narrated to me,” she told.

“I am more nervous about my work and hope people will like it, doesn’t matter how long or short it will be,” she added.

The actress also assured that she is currently doing Shoaib Mansoor’s Verna in Pakistan. “Shoaib Mansoor called me in June and I decided that I will do his movie among other roles I was being offered at that time.”
