In a recent interview, Sofiya Malik, mother of renowned actor Feroze Khan, shared her thoughts on the controversy surrounding her son’s personal life and the challenges he faced during his divorce from Aliza Sultan.
Sofiya opened up about Feroze’s nature, admitting that while he is generally loving and caring, he can sometimes have a quick temper. She explained, “His nature fluctuates between two extremes, and even I wonder why.”
When asked about the difficulties in Feroze’s marriage, Sofiya refrained from going into detail but did mention that men, like women, also have feelings. “People always consider women innocent, but men also have feelings,” she said.
Sofiya also commented on the allegations of domestic violence that emerged after Feroze and Aliza’s split. She described the family’s emotional struggles during the situation, saying, “The woman card prevailed at that time, and my son was deeply depressed despite being innocent.” She added that during this time, Feroze and his family received no support from anyone in the showbiz industry.
Addressing marital disputes, Sofiya shared her perspective, stating, “It depends on a woman. She should tolerate if her husband raises his voice. If a man speaks loudly, it does not mean he is oppressing his wife.” This comment has sparked debate, with some agreeing and others criticizing her view.
Feroze Khan and Aliza Sultan were married in 2018 and have two children together. However, their marriage ended in late 2022 when Aliza accused Feroze of domestic violence, a claim that gained widespread media attention.
