Renowned Pakistani actress and host Nadia Khan recently shared her opinion on fellow actress Hania Aamir’s growing involvement in Bollywood. In a candid interview, Nadia expressed concerns over Hania’s current focus on Indian projects and her collaboration with Indian actor Diljit Dosanjh.

Nadia said:

‎”Hania Aamir is wasting her time through Indian PR because we have seen things in the past.”

Moreover, she added:

“She’s doing a movie with Diljit Dosanjh, and we are getting to know that authorities are asking to ban the film.”

The comment comes amid ongoing discussions around cross-border artistic collaborations. While Bollywood recently welcomed back Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan in his new film “Abir Gulaal” after a period of strained relations, not all artists are receiving the same level of acceptance.

Nadia emphasized that Hania should reconsider her priorities:

“She’s wasting so much time there, she should invest this time and energy somewhere else.”

‎It’s worth noting that in recent years, there was a formal petition to ban Pakistani artists from working in India. Although the ban was lifted recently, the political and cultural tensions still pose challenges.

Despite these barriers, many Pakistani actors continue to believe that “creativity has no borders” and remain hopeful for greater collaboration between the two industries in the future.

Whether Hania Aamir’s Bollywood venture will bear fruit or not, it has certainly sparked debate in the Pakistani entertainment world.
