Several reports about veteran TV actress Nayla Jaffri health conditions have been circulating over social media for past couple of days. Some mentioned that the actress was battling the last stages of cancer while the other appealed for blood donations in a private hospital in Karachi. In a result, the federal government also assured to provide financial assistance to the veteran. BUT, in a latest update, Jaffri herself come forward to clarify that those reports were a “bit exaggerated”.
Her son Jauhar Ali posted a status on his Facebook profile on behalf of his mother to clarify the reports.
“This is to inform all friends & colleagues who may have read the upsetting and a bit exaggerated post about my condition, that my treatment is in process and I am getting better,” the actress informed.
She also thanked everyone who concerned about her health condition.”I really appreciate and overwhelmed by the love & concern shown by every one who came to see me or called me or contact my family.”
“I would like to request every one to pray for my complete recovery at home,” she requested.
In past few days, hundreds posted and shared Facebook status about Jaffri’s health and requested people to rush to a private hospital for blood donation. But later, the hospital management denied any truth in such reports.
