Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and six franchises have agreed to shift Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 7 to another window next year as PCB plans to host Australia in late February 2022.

According to the reports, PSL 7 will now take place from early January to the third week of February in Karachi and Lahore. Both the cities will host 17 matches each with the second phase including the final to be played at Gaddafi Stadium.

The cricket board has started planning for the schedule after all stakeholders agreed on the same page despite the said window clashing with the Big Bash League (BBL). Moreover, new sponsorships and broadcast deal will be signed for the new season as the previous ones got expired this year.

It is pertinent to mention here that Australia is all set to tour Pakistan after almost 25 years.
