Writer and former journalist Reham Khan has strongly criticized actress Sarah Khan for her recent comments about feminism.

In a recent interview, Sarah Khan said she doesn’t consider herself a “big feminist.” She described herself as a traditional woman who enjoys staying at home and prefers men to take leadership roles. Sarah also shared that she dislikes standing in queues and prefers old-school respect toward women.

However, Reham Khan disagreed. Speaking on the FHM podcast, Reham said Sarah’s career in the entertainment industry is a direct result of the feminist movement.

She explained:

“If feminism didn’t exist, Sarah wouldn’t have been working in TV dramas and advertisements today.”

Reham emphasized that many freedoms women enjoy today are due to the struggles of feminists in the past.

Reham, who is also a mother, urged Sarah to think about the message these comments send to younger generations, especially her own daughter. She added that women in the public eye have a responsibility to support the movements that helped open doors for them.
