Karachi Kings’ skipper Imad Wasim has stated that wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan doesn’t fit in their plating XI.

Imad while talking to the media in Karachi acknowledged Rizwan’s abilities and also called him a good wicket-keeper but indicated that he is not going to be a part of the final XI.

‘Rizwan is undoubtedly number one wicketkeeper in Pakistan but if he doesn’t fit in Karachi Kings squad, he simply doesn’t, I can’t help it,’ Imad said. “He [Rizwan] is working really hard to be in rhythm. He is also working with Dean Jones on power-hitting and you never know maybe he plays the final match or a playoff or any main match and wins it for us,” he added.

On the other hand, Imad talked about their contest against Lahore Qalandars which will be the second time the arch-rivals take on each other in this year’s PSL. “They have been playing phenomenal cricket in the last few matches,” he said. “To us, Qalandars have more to them than just Ben Dunk. Even a single player can make the game on his day so we need to plan for the whole team and not just a player,” he concluded.
