Renowned Pakistani actress Saba Faisal, known for her iconic roles in dramas like Humsafar, Khaie, and Habs, recently appeared on Good Morning Pakistan. During her appearance, she addressed a sensitive topic: how future brides can navigate challenges with in-laws.

Marriage Is a Union of Two Families

In response to a bride-to-be’s concern about facing constant taunts from her future in-laws, Saba gave a practical and heartfelt reply.

“Right now, your fiancé is happy with you,” she said. “But sons rarely change after marriage. They often follow their mother’s path.”

She stressed that in Pakistani society, marriage is more than a personal bond—it is the merging of two families. Maintaining harmony on both sides, she emphasized, is key to a successful marriage.

A Man Who Leaves His Family Might Leave You Too

Saba also warned against the idea of a man leaving his family entirely for his wife.

“It may seem good at first, but remember—if he can leave them, he can leave you too,” she noted.

She added that such situations put undue pressure on men, forcing them to choose sides, which can ultimately lead to long-term instability in the marriage.

Build Relationships, Don’t Break Them

Saba Faisal encouraged young brides to foster love and respect between both families instead of creating divisions.

“Men carry a great responsibility. When forced to pick sides, they lose,” she concluded.

Her advice quickly went viral across social media, striking a chord with both men and women who have experienced similar struggles.
