Faisalabad Region’s Sahibzada Farhan shined on day one against Karachi Whites in Cool & Cool T-20 Cup 2017 at Pindi Stadium in Rawalpindi. The star batsman of domestic cricket scored 76 runs on 52 balls while chasing 181 runs. Farhan was declared Man of the Match.
Playing first, Karachi Region White scored 185-5 in 20 overs. Akbar ur Rehman and Khurram Manzoor scored 60 and 55 respectively. Fahim Ashraf took three wickets in his four overs and gave 36 runs.
Faisalabad Region easily chased the target in 18.2 overs. Sahibazada Farhan remained not out and scored 76 while Gohar Ali contributed with his 70.
Result: Faisalabad Region won by 8 wickets
