The young and talented Samar Abbas Jafri, popularly known for his role as Wali Jahangir in Parwarish, recently shared warm words about his co-star Aina Asif, who plays Maya Shaheer in the same show.
In an interview with a digital magazine, Jafri, aged 21, was asked whether he gets along with Aina, aged 16, off-screen as well. His response was filled with admiration.
“Of course we do,” he smiled.
“I think the good thing about her is that she is really mature for her age and very sensible.”
He further explained that despite the age difference, he never feels like he’s talking to someone younger.
“Her maturity really stands out. That’s also why our bond is so strong off-screen, which reflects in our on-screen chemistry.”
No Awkwardness Despite Fan Reactions
When asked about fan reactions shipping the two actors together, Samar clarified there is no awkwardness between them. Their professional comfort and friendship keep things respectful and easy on set.
