The entertainment industry has been upping its game with regard to game shows, no pun intended. The newest one on the block is called Akhri Khilari Kon, hosted by Sanam Jung. The actress has prior hosting experience in morning shows, talk shows, and as a VJ, and is super excited to come back to it.

Speaking to Dawn Images, Jung shared how the series is inspired by a British gameshow called The Weakest Link, where contestants compete against each other and answer general knowledge questions to win a grand cash prize, which inAkhri Khilari Kon’s case can go up to Rs.1.5 million.

Explaining the format of the show, the actress said “It is a quiz show basically and we have nine rounds where we ask questions. In every round there’s a top prize like the first round’s is 25000 and it goes up to 50. And slowly, the winners can, if they can give correct answers, take up to Rs1.5 million cash prize.”

“Inspired by The Weakest Link, this doesn’t happen [often] because when they give the wrong answer, they break the money chain and they go down on zero again,” she added.

The show will be airing on Bol Tv soon, keep an eye out if you’re a fan of game shows, and watch the teaser below!
