People trolled memers on social media after the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) unbanned TikTok with certain conditions.

According to the PTA, they have restored TikTok services in the country after the senior management of the online video sharing app assured them to block vulgar and indecent content.

“TikTok is being unlocked after assurance from the app’s management that they will block all accounts repeatedly involved in spreading obscenity and immorality. TikTok will moderate the account in accordance with local laws,” PTA’s statement read.

“The restoration of TikTok is strictly subject to the condition that the platform will not be used for spread of vulgarity/indecent content & societal values will not be abused. PTA will be constrained to permanently block the application in case said condition is not fulfilled,” the statement added.

As earlier Memers trolled TikTok users after the online app was banned in the country, now TikTok users hit back at them.

It must be noted here that PTA had blocked TikTok after reportedly the Chinese company failed to keep a check on the “development of an effective mechanism for proactive moderation of unlawful online content”.
