Umar Akmal pays complete fine to return to cricket

Umar Akmal has paid a complete fine imposed on him for being guilty of breaching the anti-corruption code before Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 5.

Reports claimed that Akmal paid PKR 4.2 Million fine to start Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s rehabilitation process to make comeback on the cricket field.

Bringing into your account, Akmal had requested PCB to allow him to pay the fine in installments. But, the cricket governing body rejected the requests after reviewing his bank details.

It must be noted here that the cricketer was failed to report the fixing approach before PSL 5. PCB caught him and started an investigation in which he was found guilty. He was banned for three years but due to his appeal, the suspension was reduced to 18 months and a fine of PKR 4.2 Million.
