Urwa Hocane and Farhan Saeed joined the league of Pakistan’s favourite celebrity couples last year in December. It was a fairytale wedding. For more than a week, the showbiz industry and media were discussing the newly wedded couple. And then, just a day or two after their wedding events, both of them went back to work on their professional commitments.
Everyone was expecting that the couple will fly somewhere to celebrate their honeymoon period but the couple prefered their professional commitments. It’s not that they don’t get much time for each other, obviously they do, and we see as well but since they got married, they have been putting even more efforts and time to their professional commitments.

Urwa is doing at least four films including Punjab Nahi Jaoungi, Jhol, Na Maloom Afraad and Rangreza. With that, she is also working on different fashion project which we get to see. Her better half, Farhan Saeed is also doing TV and music. The former Jal’s lead vocalist and now a solo artist had done more than 50 concerts last year and is now carrying the same momentum in 2017.

Both of them have been showing such dedication towards their work which is being recognized on different levels. According to the most recent update, the couple is being nominated in five categories in upcoming 5th HUM Awards 2017, which are set to take place on 29th of this month in Lahore.

The couple is nominated in three categories for HUM TV drama serial Udaari. Urwa is nominated in the category of Best Female Actor, Farhan in Best Supporting Actor (Male) and they together share third one, which is, Best Couple. Farhan is also separately nominated in two categories for his song Koi Rokay Na Mujhey, including Best Song and Best Music Video.

This is surely nothing less than a reward for the newly wedded couple, specially when none of them have family background in showbiz. They have been doing great on and off the screen and we pray they continue doing so and win more hearts.
The 5th HUM Awards 2017 are scheduled to be held on April 29th, 2017. The complete list of nominations for the awards is expected to be announced in coming days.
