Love, as we think, should not involve ego because if you love someone and put conditions, then it is not love. Wafa Ka Mausam, a new drama serial on TV One starring Aijaz Aslam, Neelam Muneer and Nauman Habib in leading roles, is an intense love story which is being suffered by the ego. It is actually a tussle between love and ego.
Neelam Muneer as Komal is a vibrant idealist who falls in love with Dara, a character played by Aijaz Aslam, who is a man of principle. Nauman Habib as Bazil plays an arbitrator between Komal and Dara but secretly loves her too.
“My role in Wafa Ka Mausam is something which I have never done before” says Muneer. “It is my first project with TV One and I am glad that I have worked with them,” she expresses.
Aslam believes that in past, there was less work and writers used to concentrate much on scripts and character and so did actors, but now, there is a lot of work and nobody has time. “Things have become commercial now. A lot of stories come to you but you like only a few,” tells Aslam. “Actors, who still select projects carefully, and put full efforts, remain step ahead,” he adds.
Muneer seconds her costar Aslam and adds “It is the effort of director to make the product look good and our director has done it well.”
‘In Wafa Ka Mausam, a father claims to love his daughter, a boy loves a girl, they all claim to love each other but with that, they got big egos, they are stern with their own stance,” says Shahwar, the content heat at TV One. “The theme itself is intense love and it’s not new but it’s in the storytelling that you create something new,” she includes.
Wafa Ka Mausam is written by Riffat Siraj and directed by Barkat Siddiqui. The OST of drama serial is composed by the maestro Waqar Ali and sung by Quratulain.
The drama on-airs on TV One on every Wednesday at 08:00pm.
