Pakistan’s former Test cricketer Younis Khan urged current lot of batsmen to adopt ‘Never Give-Up’ approach on the field to make a name forever.

Speaking to batsmen via teleconference on Thursday, Khan shared useful tips with the batters and guided them on how to become potent on the field.

“You need to be strong enough while representing your country. You have to put sweat, blood to achieve big and it demands a lot to become a legend,” the former captain told emerging and senior cricketers.

Khan gave examples of former cricketers Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, and current Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, once a great cricketer, who played even with broken bones.

“Idolize your legends, players like Wasim, Waqar, and Imran Bhai. Read about them how they suffered through ups and downs to reach that stage where people called them ‘legends’. Their commitment was exceptional and they did whatever they can in their capacity to represent their country on a higher note,” he highlighted.

It must be noted here that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken an initiative to conduct interactive sessions between former and current cricketers. Earlier, Wasim Akram, Rashid Latif, Mushtaq Ahmed, and Javed Miandad interacted with current cricketers to share some useful tips with them.
