Cinema owners in Pakistan finally lifted the self-imposed ban on Indian films, which was forced in the aftermath of Indo-Pak conflicts. The action was taken when cinema owners given-up on bearing further losses. The decision, which was backed by the majority of Pakistani filmmakers and actors, received positive response from the other side of the border as well.

According to a report by Indian Express, Bollywood’s Priyanka Chopra, Anil Kapoor and Kajol appreciated the step taken by Pakistani cinema owners.
Praising the initiative, Kajol told “anything where the film industry gets a brick, where the film industry gets a positive sign etc, I am all for the film industry.”
Anil Kapoor felt happy with the decision. “I am very happy about it, it is a great news.” he told.
‘Art should go across the world. I have always believed that. So, I am glad about it.” expressed Priaynka.
