The chairman of All Pakistan Cable Association Mr. Khalid Arain has recalled that Indian films have been restored in country but distributor from other side of the border are not willing to give their movies to this side of border. ‘Indian films have been restored but it has been heard that Indian distributors are not giving their films to Pakistan,” said Arain.

‘The issue will not be settled until situation in both countries get normal,’ he added.

Discussing the ban on Indian content on television by Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA), Arain hoped for better relations between neighbours. ‘Lets pray relations between two countries get better,’ he asked. ‘So, the people who are interested to watch Indian content, should be able to watch it,’ he added.

Arain was talking the media after the premiere of The Great Pakistani Circus Season II in Karachi at the Arts Council of Pakistan. ‘Our cinemas are facing devastating situation these days, and in such situation, it is encouraging to see international artists coming to Pakistan to provide entertainment,’ he appreciated the organizers of circus. ‘I suggest them to held these shows across Karachi,’ he added.

The Great Pakistani Circus Season II is starting from today, December 30, 2016 at the Arts Council of Pakistan in Karachi.
