A full dress rehearsal for the third edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) final is scheduled to be held at the National Stadium of Karachi on February 11, 2018.
In the copy of the letter present with us, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Subhan Ahmed has informed all concerned departments about the rehearsals. “On the instruction of honorable Chief Minister of Sindh, a full dress rehearsal has been scheduled February 11. ICC and Broadcaster (Sunder and Vine) Security consultant will also witness the rehearsal,” reads the letter.
“On the basis of successful conduct of rehearsal, they will recommend International players Cricket Association to allow foreign players to participate in PSL final in Karachi,” it adds.
It further stated that the a coordination meeting of all stakeholders may be arranged on February 7th at the office of Inspector General of Sindh Police, where director security along with General Manager National Stadium of Karachi will attend the subject meeting.
“The representatives of Army, Intelligence agencies, Rangers, Commissioner Karachi, DG Protocol, ASF, CAA, DG Health, KESC and other related departments be instructed to participate in the meeting,” it continued.
PSL final is scheduled to be held at National Stadium of Karachi on March 25 after an eliminator match and second qualifier to be held at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on March 20 and March 21 respectively.
