A couple of weeks ago, it was reported that Hassan Sheheryar Yasin aka HSY will not be directing the Lux Style Awards 2018, set to be held in Lahore later this month. Now the latest reports reveal that model turned choreographer Vaneeza Ahmed will be taking the task for the first time. HSY had replaced Frieha Altaf of Catwalk Event Management and Productions last year.
According to a report on Images, Altaf will also be orchestrating two segments for the show, the opening and finale. The former LSA director is expected to launch a movement dedicated to defending human rights through these segments and will be bringing celebrities to show their support for the cause.
“All I can say at this point is that the show is going to have a very different format although it’s still going to be characteristically sophisticated,” told Ahmed, who had won Best Model awards at LSA in 2002 and 2005.
