The film, which is a collaboration between Momina Duraid (MD) Productions and HUM Films, has already hit the floors with Hamza Ali Abbasi and Janaan’s Hania Amir, however, Balu Mahi’s Osman Khalid Butt inclusion is doubtful.
Parwaaz Hay Junoon will also mark the directorial debut of award-winning drama director Haseeb Hasan and Humsafar, Diyar-e-Dil and Udaari famed writer Farhat Ishtiaq.
Shamoon Abbasi, who had done a powerful negative role in Bilal Lashari’s Waar, will soon join the cast of Parwaaz Hay Junoon for shooting.
Apart from Parwaaz Hay Junoon, Shamoon will also be seen in Sahir Lodhi’s Raasta, which he has announced to boycott because of differences with Sahir Lodhi, who is also directed the movie. He is also working on six online movies, three of them have already been released on Youtube. The third one, Mey Rahungi featuring drama actress Sherry, is released last week.
The film is being produced in collaboration with Pakistan Air Force and will be focusing on highlighting the stories from real life. It will feature real life Air Force pilots and personalities along with the lead cast.
Parwaaz Hay Junoon is slated to release in 2017.
