Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy criticized Peshawar Zalmi after reports made rounds on the internet that the PSL franchise has roped in Turkish actress Esra Bilgic as their brand ambassador for the upcoming sixth edition of the league.
Taking to Instagram, Sharmeen said the Pakistani industry will die if brands will keep on hiring foreign actors. She thinks that Pakistani actors deserve more than anyone else to get such jobs.
Reacting to her views, people criticized her for spreading hate. A couple of critics got replies back from the Emmy Awards winner.
It must be noted here that several reports claimed that Peshawar Zalmi has approached Esra aka Halima Sultan of Drilis: Ertugrul to appoint her as their brand ambassador for PSL 6.
