Ishtiaq Baig, a renowned industrialist and former Pakistani Politician, sent a legal notice to Zohaib Hassan who accused him of murdering his ex-wife late Nazia Hassan.
Zohaib, in an interview with Samaa Tv on the 20th death anniversary of his sister Nazia, disclosed that his family has found a 10-pages long testimony of Nazia which claimed that Baig ‘fed her something harmful in food or tea’.
Now, in reaction to all the allegations, Ishtiaq has sent a legal notice to Zohaib ‘under section 8 of The Defamation Ordinance, 2002 along with all other enabling laws’. The legal notice asked Zohaib to apologize to Ishtiaq and pay him RS. 1000,000,000 (ONE BILLION) in damages within seven days after which he will go to court.
It must be noted here that Nazir passed away on August 13, 2000, after battling lungs cancer for a long time.
