The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken notice of Karachi Kings’ head coach Dean Jones cleaning the dugout area after his team defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 10 runs at National Stadium Karachi on Friday.
The general manager of NSK Arshad Khan took action against ground sweepers and scolded them for not fulfilling their duties. In reply, sweepers complained that they are not allowed to enter the ground during the match despite having access to their accreditation card. Whereas, the incident took place immediately after the match was over.
It is worth mentioning here that a video showing Kings’ head coach cleaning the dugout got viral on social media. The video got mixed reactions as few people praised Jones for this positive gesture while others criticized PCB for poor management.
