Gohar Rasheed believes that men have equal responsibility to reduce their gaze and respect all women around them.
In a conversation with a Youtube channel, Gohar talked about domestic violence and crimes against women followed by a trending ‘thappar scene’ from his drama serial Laapata.
“When a crime is committed against a woman, it doesn’t matter what the circumstances are that led up to it. At the end of the day, a wrong has been committed and that is what needs to be condemned and there is no justification for the crime,” he said.
“Men are responsible to lower their gazes and be respectful to women regardless of their actions,” he added.
“And, sometimes I think, why always women are given all the instructions and limitations and not men,” he questioned.
