A mystery is going to be resolved as TV launched teasers and OST of it’s new horror series titled Dhund in a meet and greet event in Karachi. The series stars some of very talented names of Pakistani drama industry including Maria Wasti, Hasan Ahmed, Zhalay Sarhadi, Laila Wasti and others. The series has been written by Mohammad Ahmed and produced by Erum Binte Shahid.
A visual representation of the series Dhund followed by OST were exclusively shown to the members of media at the event.
“It’s dead men walking or is it imagination”
The series, as told during the meet and greet session, encounters with spirits from another world and shows how a brave woman helps them find peace.
“I started my writing career as a mystery writer, but I’ve been doing Rom-Coms for years now and that lost idea of mystery series recovered when Seema Tahir said Yes for Dhund,” expressed the writer and actor Mohammad Ahmed.
Producer Erum Binte Shahid added, “The concept of the mystery series is different which will build a connection. Maria can see dead people and owns personal tragedy whereas Uzair, (Hasan) plays a young smart and devoted police officer and he is a sincere friend to Maria. Nana Syed (Mohammad Ahmed Sahb) is playing Maria’s grandfather, who is also her close confidante.”
The drama serial Dhund is directed by Faiz and the haunting OST is composed by Wajid Saeed, which complements the mysterious feel of the series.
