Om Puri, the veteran Bollywood actor – who shot his only Pakistani motion picture Actor in Law with Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza starring Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat in lead roles – will dependably be recalled. According to reports, Puri’s Pakistani film is set to be screened ‘secretly’ at Harkisan Mehta Institute in Mumbai on August 10th, 2018 for a group of students.

The picture was released in 2016 in Pakistan but didn’t come to India because of Puri’s unexpected death in January 2017. The film was additionally screened at a film celebration in Rajasthan prior this year.

According to Times of India report, The show will be headed by the school’s Orientation Day, trailed by the commencement of the Om Puri Foundation. Nandita, Om Puri’s better half said, “We will be announcing the Om Puri scholarship and fellowship through which we wish to take his legacy forward.”

As per the reports, Om Puri didn’t charge for his first Pakistani film. The filmmaker Fizza Ali revealed in an interview that, “this was our second movie and he said that he would have done it had it been produced by a big studio. He loved the script and did it on a friendly basis. On our part, we ensured that we hosted him well. When I came to India, he took us to Kanheri Caves and Prithvi Theatre, there’s not a single day when we don’t think of him or speak of him.”
