Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said his ministry has joined hands with Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) to promote E-Sports in Pakistan.
Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, the minister said Pakistan Science Foundation and PSB have come to an agreement that will give ESports, ‘the status of a proper sport in the country’.
“PSF and PSB have come into an agreement to give ESports the status of a proper sport in Pakistan. If you are interested in ESports then get ready as ample opportunities await you,” he wrote.

Earlier, Chaudhry announced to launch Pakistan’s first-ever certified gaming program which was to enroll the country’s name into the gaming industry, worth $ 90 Billion.
