Last year, when Ali Zafar jumped on stage to sing Ab Khel Jamay Ga during opening ceremony of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season II in Dubai, he wore his Pakistani big screen debut Teefa in Trouble jacket. This year, when he will be going on stage to sing Dil Se Jaan Laga De, he will release the first teaser of his film.
This year, we are actually looking forward to a couple of films including Bilal Lashari’s Maula Jutt 2 featuring Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mahira Khan and Humaima Malik and Ahsan Rahim’s Teefa in Trouble starring Ali Zafar and Maya Ali in lead roles. While we do not have any update on the former, the latter’s teaser is finally scheduled to release on February 22nd, 2018 during the PSL opening ceremony in Dubai.

According to reports, Zafar was filming a diversity of action packed, often death defying stunts for Teefa in Trouble. The actor refused to allow a stunt double and trained hard to bring the action charged film to life.

“It is a truly nerve racking situation to know that your irreplaceable lead is about to risk his safety for a scene but that’s Ali’s dedication to his role and commitment to delivering a true action packed scene, as that is ultimately what the movie demands. I don’t think I know any other actor here willing to go to those lengths as most of the work is done by doubles. Of course, the retakes on set do become a cause for the occasional anxiety of actually watching him do those crazy stunts… again and again!” shared Ahsan Rahim, the director of the film.
