Singer Atif Aslam reportedly has come on the radar of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for not paying the tax out of his 2018’s income.
According to Express Pk, the singer has been served with FBR’s tax notices worth 58 Million. The notices were sent after auditing the musician’s 2018 yearly income.
Atif has been asked to pay the due amount within a month otherwise his bank accounts will be frozen and tax recovery will be done from them.
It is pertinent to mention here that Atif was not the first Pakistani singer to receive tax notices as earlier FBR launched an investigation into singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s sources of income.
