A certain showbiz couple that has always garnered the spotlight in mainstream media is that of Aagha Ali and Sarah Khan. Ever since they paired up for drama serial Tumhare Hain, the duo has been pretty open about their offscreen romance. However, it looks like the couple has officially called it quits, as announced by Ali on a recent talk show.
While making an appearance on Chai, Toast, Aur Host, the actor addressed the rumours of their breakup circulating the web. Their fans began to question their relationship status when Ali posted a lengthy appreciation post for Band Khirkiyan, and did not acknowledge or tag his leading lady, Khan.
And now Ali has put the rumours to rest by declaring they both wanted different things from life, hence, the break-up. He went on to praise Khan and her work, saying he holds the utmost respect for her. He also talked about how dark the breakup was for him, as it led to isolation and absence from work.
“It was really tough for me, I could not work for months, I was isolated and could not deal with it. But then again, life has to go on,” he said, while mentioning they both maintain a respectful attitude towards each other.
On a parting note, the actor also thanked his loved ones and fans for always supporting him, and mentioned how he will still be open about his private life, as his fans deserve to know what’s up.
