Pakistan’s Prime Minister successfully underwent open-heart surgery at London hospital yesterday. People from Pakistan and other parts of the world sent prayers and best wishes to the PM, his family and nation. To join them, star batsmen of Pakistan Super League’s Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators – Chris Gayle and Kevin Pietersen – sent a video messages. They prayed for PM and wished him good luck for the surgery and recovery.

Pakistani star batsman Ahmad Shahzad, who was recently neglected by the selection committee for upcoming England tour, posted these video messages on his Instagram account.

“My thoughts and prayers go to the PM, in london, i wish him a successful surgery and i hope all goes accordingly to plan. Mr. Muhammad Sharif, God bless you and your family,” prayed star West Indian batsman Chris Gayle.

“Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, all the very best. Hope everything goes okay. Thoughts and prayers with you, your family,” wished former British batsman Kevin Pietersen.
