Asim Abbasi’s ‘Churails’, first-ever Pakistani web-series, has been accused of copying artwork of French artist named Malika Favre.
A Twitter user named Amna Tariq noticed that the artwork in ‘Churails’ was similar to illustration by French illustrator Favre.

“Half a minute into the web series Churails and I spot some blatant plagiarism in the opening credits. Malika Favre’s powerful illustration has been quite conveniently ripped off,” she wrote.

Responding to the claim, Favre said she will look into this if her content was copied in the web-series.

It must be noted here that the opening sequence of ‘Churails’ was designed by Rokhan Studio. ‘Churails’ featuring Nimra Bucha, Yasra Rizvi, Sarwat Gilani, and Mehar Bano is first-ever bold original Pakistani content that had released on Zee5 digital platform.
