The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has warned all artistes in the country to not collaborate with Pakistani musicians via live sessions on social media.

In a statement, FWICE said that their artistes are strictly not allowed to interact with celebrities from Pakistan but they have been involved in collaborating with their Pakistani counterparts amid worldwide poor situation due to coronavirus.

“We are pained to inform all members that despite being fully aware that FWICE has issued a total non-cooperation circular advising all members not to work in any manner whatsoever with all Pakistani artistes, singers, and technicians, some members are blatantly violating the non-cooperation circular,” a letter issued on Monday said.

Recently, Pakistani singer Ali Sethi did a live session on Instagram with Shilpa Rao in which they both sang songs for people across the world as a token of relief in such a situation.

Meanwhile, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan also joined a great initiative #WedNation in which artistes from India including Harshdeep Kaur also participated.
