Hamza Ali Abbasi and Ahmed Ali Butt criticized online streaming platform Netflix for promoting Paedophilia in its upcoming French show ‘Cuties’.
Netflix revealed the poster and trailer of the film which was initially scheduled to be released in August 2020 but postponed to September 2020. The poster and trailer of the film were highly criticized across the world as it promoted ‘Paedophilia’.
Following immense criticism, Netflix apologized and replaced the poster and description for the film.
We’re deeply sorry for the inappropriate artwork that we used for Mignonnes/Cuties. It was not OK, nor was it representative of this French film which won an award at Sundance. We’ve now updated the pictures and description.

The Pakistani actor assured that if this show gets on air next month despite all objections, he will cancel his Netflix subscription. “It’s horrifying to see a show in the mainstream blatantly sexualising 11 yr old kids. If this show is still there by next month. I am canceling my Netflix subscription and so should you,” he wrote.
