Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, who is set to make her big Bollywood debut alongside Shahrukh Khan in Raees next year, may actually travel to India for the promotions, if needed. Ritesh Sidwani, the producer of her movie, shared these thoughts while talking to the press at the trailer launch. “I think when we start promotions and if we find it necessary to involve her and bring her here, we will do it,” told Sidwani.

Mahira Khan and her Humsafar co-star Fawad Khan found themselves in trouble after Raj Thackerey, the leader of Indian extremist party MNS, called for ban on Pakistani artists and films featuring them. While Fawad Khan just played a cameo in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, recently released Raees trailer assured that Mahira Khan is very much there in the movie.

Mahira’s co-star in Raees Shahrukh Khan agreed with his producer and chose not to comment. He was also asked about his experience of working with Mahira, on which, he termed it as ‘very good.’
