The hype for Khalil ur Rehman Qamar’s drama serial Meray Pass Tum Ho has apparently not died yet. The hit drama is being converted into a book and will be available for purchase by the end of this year.
Qamar, who is the show’s screenwriter, took to Twitter to announce the arrival of the book, which will be published by Aks Publications. “Meray Paas Tum Ho is getting published. InshaAllah it will be available in markets by December. Get your copy booked by contacting the publisher Mr. Fawad at 03004827500,” he tweeted.
The book’s cover features the lead actors, Humayun Saeed, Ayeza Khan and Adnan Siddiqui, and is reminiscent of old book covers. It also features a tagline in Urdu at the top, which translates to “When God favours a woman, you feel glad, but when another man does the same, you don’t.”

This announcement received mixed reviews, with many questioning the need for the book. Meray Pass Tum Ho has carried a controversial element ever since it aired, mainly for having misogynistic undertones, both in the show and the screenwriter’s personal remarks.
