The leading run scorer in Pakistan Super League this season, Kumara Sangakkara said that the level of competition is very high in the league.

‘Level of competition is very high in the league,” he told while talking to us post Multan Sultans versus Quetta Gladiators match in Sharjah last night. “Some of the best internationals are playing with great young talent from Pakistan and the seniors are there too, so I think it is one the best leagues out there,” he added.

The former Sri Lankan great also praised Shoaib Malik on his captaincy skill and told that the skipper never puts pressure on players. “He has been great as leader because he is very relax. He never puts pressure on us but expect us just to do the job that we are supposed to do,” he share.

When asked he will be coming to Pakistan if Multan Sultans qualify for the play-offs, he said, “I think we got a long way to go before we qualify. It’s about playing one game at a time and makes decision when the time comes.”
