Amid the political situation in Pakistan, music maestro Rohail Hyatt shared his conversation with a BBC radio journalist.

Taking to Twitter, Hyatt disclosed that a BBC journalist once told him that the West wants to control Pakistan.

“A very senior BBC radio journalist once visited my studio and in an informal chat, he said, Rohail, the west might not want an unstable Pakistan but it certainly doesn’t want a strong Pakistan. His words ring true in my ears seeing how we’ve been kept ‘barely ticking along’,” he wrote.

Currently, Prime Minister Imran Khan is facing a no-confidence motion in National Assembly. Last week, PM Khan dissolved assemblies but a decision by Supreme Court overturned the situation and directed for voting on a no-confidence motion.
