Earlier, Kapoor released an official statement to give a shut up call to all trolls. “I’ve gotten to know Mahira in a personal capacity over the last few months. She is somebody who I admire and respect, for her achievements and even more for the person she is,” read the statement. “It is very unfair the way she is being judged and spoken about. What is also sad is the inequality in judgment just because she is a woman. I request you to stop the negativity and move on with your beautiful god gifted lives. Peace and love,” it added.

Talking about Verna at the trailer launch, Khan told that she was splendid with the response to the first teaser and song. “The whole team has put a lot of effort in this movie and I hope this movie leaves an impact on people,” she said.

The new entrant Haroon Shahid, who is also SYMT band’s lead vocalist and performed in Coke Studio, also talked about his feeling “It’s an honor for me to debut through Shoaib Mansoor’s movie. He has always believed in giving fresh talent a chance and I feel lucky to be a part of this movie. I cannot wait for the movie to be released and get audience’s feedback,” stated Coke Studio sensation, Haroon Shahid, who was present at the trailer launch.
