The heartthrob Ahsan Khan is set to make his comeback on big screen after a couple of years in Mohsin Ali’s Chupan Chupai, which will star the debutant Neelam Muneer opposite him. It is a comedy-thriller, which has been written by Zeeshan Haider along with the director of the film.
In an interview with behtareen.pk, the drama serial Udaari actor told that he was offered a few other big screen projects as well but he picked this film for his comeback because of strong script. “I am doing a couple of other films as well but Chupan Chupai will always remain closer to my heart because it is my first film since the revival of Pakistani cinema,” he shared.
Earlier, Khan did Iqbal Kashmiri’s Ghar Kab Aaogey in 2001 and then went to London for three years. “When I came back, I did a few films including the ones with Shahzad Rafiq and Mehreen Jabbar,” he told.
Neelam Muneer, who was recently in discussions because of her dance video which went viral over social media, told that she was very excited about her debut and that she received overwhelming response from the trailer. For obvious reason, our first question from her was about her dance video. “It wasn’t any stunt and I enjoyed it a lot. It was the best moment of my life,” she expressed. “Now Ahsan and I will make another such video,” she added with a laugh.
Cashing the moment, we asked if there would be an item number in the movie. Khan replied, “Someone recently asked me why there is no item number in the film, and I told him that each and every scene in the film is an item. Especially whenever Neelam makes her entry.”
Chupan Chupai is locked for release on December 29, 2017. We asked Neelam who she would like to work next. “Ahsan, Ahsan and, Ahsan. People are in love with our chemistry in the trailer and I think it’s enough to take the decision,” she told. “We are offered another comedy film together, which will be shot abroad,” Khan revealed, adding that they haven’t taken any decision yet.
We wish Ahsan Khan, Neelam Muneer and the whole team of Chupan Chupai a very good luck for the release of their film.
