Mehwish Hayat has another feather to add to her cap through her noble activism and investment in speaking up for Pakistan. While she has bagged many local accolades for her efforts, including the recent Tamgha-i-Imtiaz, Hayat was recently featured in a list of 5 Muslim women who are changing the world. Talk about nailing it right to the tee!
The list was created by an international publication called Muslim Vibe, headed by Penny Appeal, who decided to honour and celebrate women who continue to be an inspiration around them. Hayat made it to the list alongside four other empowered women, Manal Rostom, Ilhan Omar, Linda Sarsour, and Ibtihaj Muhammad. All of these women belong to different walks of life with one factor in common: a passion to fight for the cause they believe in.

The actress has been receiving major appreciation for this feat, and is gradually becoming Pakistan’s sweetheart amongst the masses. People feel her actions have totally justified her receiving the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz, and urged her to always stay the same.
The people who criticized her on Tamgha e Imtiaz must be in hiding – she has proved herself to be the most intelligent and responsible Pakistani young celeb. More power to you Mehwish

Please stay the same @MehwishHayat. Some times international recognition gets on people head and they forget what they even got recognition for in the first place. @priyankachopra @Malala
