After the massive success of Ab Khel Kay Dikha and Ab Khel Jamay Ga in last two seasons of Pakistan Super League (PSL), Pakistan’s leading multi-talented superstar, Ali Zafar is back with the third anthem titled Dil Se Jaan Laga De. The song has been written, composed, produced and sung by Ali Zafar himself.

The official video of the song is released on January 28th, 2018 (Today) as a gift of Pakistan’s victory against New Zealand in the final T20 of the series. The Sarfaraz eleven once again secured the first position in the ICC T20 ranking.

“Two things that lie at the heart of our nation’s DNA are cricket and music and I am extremely fortunate to live these two passions in this lifetime,” told Zafar. “As exciting as it is to write, compose and to sing PSL’s official anthem for the third time, it was actually quite challenging given that last year’s anthem was such a massive hit. I cannot explain how humbling it was to hear it play from every car, home and in every street when the final came home to Pakistan. In fact, when I was writing it, I wrote the entire chorus based on the vision, hope and dream of cricket returning to Pakistan, and we are very fortunate that it did!,” he added.

“This year’s anthem takes that thought further and it is based on a celebration; that last year’s dream was fulfilled, that the PSL embraces the very essence of cricket and pride; that Pakistan and Pakistanis will take the Super League to the next level again this year,” Zafar continued.

  1. Gayle has played in first two editions of the PSL and has been ordinary
with the bat, scoring 103 in five outings in the first season and 160 runs in nine
    matches in the next.
Gayle who has scored 200 runs in nine matches for his IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
He was available ‘partially’ for the PSL event but the franchise owners were not
    interested.

Poor Gayle, What the time has come, how will the psl be interesting without him?
